The American Science & Surplus Krampus Parade is an event highlight, and we’ve expanded our outdoor entertainment!

After the parade, gather near a bonfire and enjoy post-parade performances from drum and bugle corps Spielmanszug Milwaukee, a performance of the Witch’s Dance, and fire dancers! We’re calling this performance area the Brimstone Stage.

While waiting for the parade (or after), we have a great new option for you this year– The Bells & Chains Tavern. The bar is located in a pavilion in the beer garden near where the bonfire will be. Walk through the beer garden gates and keep walking, listen for a ringing bell– you won’t miss it.

The Bells & Chains Tavern will be open for business 7-10pm. They’ll be serving the namesake Bells & Chains, a “St. Nikolausbockbier aged with light roasted oak and Bourbon (20 IBU, 9.3% ABV) Specially made for Krampus celebration!” As well some hot drinks like coffee or hot cocoa (served with Bailey’s or Kahlua) and Glühwein, a traditional warm mulled wine served traditionally in Germany around Christmastime.

We’ll also have a couple games in the tavern set up– play a game of bean bag toss, or as we like to call it, Krampholio, as well as other fun games.
