Everything you need to know for Milwaukee Krampusnacht

Where is the event and how do I get there?
Milwaukee Krampusnacht takes place Sunday, Dec. 5 from 4-10pm at the Bavarian Bierhaus (700 W. Lexington Blvd, Glendale) right off I-43 and Port Washington Rd. It’s near Bayshore Mall and there are a couple bus lines that stop nearby.

Do I need a ticket to attend?
Yes (unless you are a performer, vendor, or volunteer). General Admission is $5, Kid’s Krampus Hour includes a craft project, visit from St. Nick and Krampus, and a candy bag (there are only a few tickets left) Ticket link: www.eventbrite.com/e/milwaukee-krampusnacht-tickets-201038269877

Can I get tickets at the door?
Yes, general admission tickets available for $5 at the door, cash only, you can help us by bringing exact change.

Is there parking?
The Bavarian Bierhaus has a pretty big parking lot. After it fills up, you’ll have to find parking out on Port Washington Road. Please do carpool, rideshare, etc when possible. Please do not park in someone’s yard.

Which way does the wind blow?
Weather report says there will be scattered showers. The show must go on and everything will move on schedule, rain, snow, sleet be damned. Dress warmly.

Where is the parade?
The parade starts at 7 sharp and people should gather in the beer garden area, which is a fenced in area. Gather on the sides of the path to enjoy the show!

Will there be food/drink?
Yes, the Bavarian Bierhaus has food and drink available inside (and Bells & Chains beer and hot drinks outside). Here’s their menu: https://www.thebavarianbierhaus.com/food-menu-2

Do you have shirts?
We did a pre-order on shirts, there will be a limited amount available, first come, first serve.

Is this appropriate for my kid, age BLANK?
We always say that it’s hard for us to answer that because different kids have different fear tolerance. We recommend Googling up some Krampusnacht videos to get their reaction. Here’s a video of our parade from 2018 from our friends at Haunt News Network:

Do you need volunteers?
Yes. Volunteering an hour or two helps make this a fun event for everyone and you’ll still have plenty of time to have fun. See our volunteer form: CLICK HERE

Do you need donations?
Yes. We had some unexpected costs, so people donating a few bucks really helps us out. Any extra money will be saved for next year. Donation link: www.gofundme.com/f/milwaukee-krampusnacht-2021-costs

Special Krampusnacht Rules

-Our Krampus and other costumed performers spend a lot of hard work (and money) on their costumes, so please don’t touch or grab them. Most will be glad to pose for a picture or selfie, just ask.

-Because of the ongoing pandemic, we highly encourage wearing a mask (Krampus or otherwise) in our American Science & Surplus Krampus Market room while shopping.

-There will be a lot of people there. Please be patient.

-Have fun! We love to see that many attendees dress up for the event (even if they’re not in the parade) with Krampus horns, ugly sweaters, and other festive outfits. So please feel free to dress up. The last couple years have been challenging. We’re so glad to be back– let’s have a good time and be good to each other.
